Remove the crust from the bread slices and cut all of them diagonally in to 4 pieces.
Arrange it at the bottom of a glass dish neatly.
Heat butter and pour over the bread pieces.
Boil the milk in a pan and reduce the flame and keep stirring till the milk reduces by half.
Pour the milk over the bread slices and ensure that the slices are fully immersed.
Pour the condensed milk on the bread.
Spread sugar and vanilla essence evenly on the bread.
Decorate with chopped nuts, raisins and refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours.
