Akki Rotti is a very healthy and delicious breakfast made with rice flour,grated coconut, green chillies, coriander leaves, cumin seeds and salt originally from Karnataka.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add Rice Flour, Finely chopped onions, Green Chillies, Cumin seeds, Freshly chopped coriander, Grated Coconut and salt.
  2. Add water and combine all the ingredients to a soft dough.
  3. Divide the dough into 4 parts
  4. On a tawa spread the dough as thin as possible in a round shape
  5. Make a few holes in the akki rotti.
  6. Pour Oil over the rotti
  7. Place it on the stove and cook covered till it becomes reddish brown
  8. Flip over and cook the other side also covered.
  9. Transfer to a plate.
  10. Prepare the rest of the rottis in the same manner.
  11. Serve hot with curds and pickle.
