Dry Ginger Coffee // Chukku Kapi

Dry Ginger coffee or better known as Chukku Kaapi in south India is an all natural home remedy against nasal congestions, cough, cold, sore throat, indigestion, fever etc.

Cook Time 20 minutes



  1. In a deep bottom vessel, add 5 glasses of water
  2. Add, Jaggery, mint leaves, coriander seeds, Crushed dry ginger, crushed cumin seeds and black pepper powder
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil on high flame.
  4. Once the mixture is boiled, cover it and boil it on low flame for about 15 to 20 minutes until the water is reduced to half
  5. Strain the contents into a glass and drink hot for effective cold, cough and sore throat relief.
